Come Home 03:07
COMING HOME- Words & Music James R Heltz (C) 2014 James R Heltz Late one night I had a dream A Voice whispered to me Come home, come home Come home It doesn’t matter what path you walk In the sunlight or shadows dark We are all part of his plan Whether you’re boy Or whether you’re a man Come home, come home Come home, Come home Come home The life we choose The sins we make The lies we hide in or the vows we break If you have fortune If you have fame Or if you’re just a pawn in their game Come home, Come home Come home, Come home I’m coming Yes I’m running I’m coming Home I’m coming home

Harshness 02:12
Harshness-Words & Music James Heltz (C)2014 James R Heltz I can feel a disease spreading across the plains People pointing fingers, people taking names What it all means now, I don't know Electrical storm charging up the atmosphere I can see the anger, I can taste the fear Why is it happening, I don't know Oh You gotta look left and you gotta look right Oh they got you in their sights Be ready for a fight Cold air stings and a harsh wind blows Don't tell me that's the way it goes Where it's going to stop I don't know There's an angry mob growing and it can't be tamed They're taking numbers and they're taking names Who they're blaming this I know Oh You gotta look left and you gotta look right Hold your family oh so tight From the darkness there will be a light

No More Sad Songs- Words & Music James Heltz (C)2014 James R Heltz She has a diamond, She wears a ring But not for me But I'm okay now, we're not a thing There will be no more sad songs No more sad songs No more sad songs for me tonight She has a family and she is a wife but not with me I'm okay now I'm out of her life The fog has lifted, the storm has passed but not for me I'm okay but I thought it would last There will be no more sad songs No more sad songs No more sad songs for me tonight No more sad songs No more sad songs Maybe one last sad song tonight

Bad Man 03:15
BAD MAN- Lyrics & Music James Heltz (C) 2014 James R Heltz I am a nun’s bad habit The kind she just can’t kick I am the bad apple That Eve was tempted to pick Venus she was a little timid I coaxed that girl right out of her shell Jill had a fall with Jack But she tumbled behind the well with a Bad Bad Bad Man A Bad Bad Bad Man With A Bad Bad Bad Man The Prince might have been charming But he wasn’t gifted Snow White whistled while she worked it She remembers when she drifted to A Bad Bad Bad Man A Bad Bad Bad Man A Bad Bad Bad Man The Mona Lisa earned her smile A sweet mystery she won’t tell It’s a little bit of heaven And a whole lotta of hell With a Bad Bad Bad Man With a Bad Bad Bad Man With a Bad Bad Bad Man I'm a Bad Man Baby

about

What is Transitory Symphony? Is it Jazz, Folk-Rock, Avant-Garde, Blues, Country, World or Fusion? Yes! Transitory Symphony is a gathering of sound and story swirled into a blend only possible when two artists of divergent tastes get in the studio.
Tom Haney revels in the rhythms of Earth, Wind & Fire, Herbie Hancock and table/sitar master Sandip Burman. Tom's wide ranging palette of sound reaches out to both the head and the heart.
Jim Heltz lives for the written word. He creates tall tales of love, lust, loss, fear & redemption. His stories travel on roads paved with rock, folk and blues.
Listen to the story and enjoy the mix of Transitory Symphony.
